Xtream Arena

Skold Commercial Contracting installed Dura-a-flex’s Dur-a-Chip decorative flake flooring system at Coralville’s Xtream Arena.  To mitigate any moisture and RH concerns with the concrete substrate, MVP Primer was installed.  Scope of work included approximately 33,480 square feet of Dur-a-Chip epoxy flooring, MVP primer, (2) broadcasts of decorative flake to refusal into Dur-a-Glaze #4, an epoxy grout coat of Dur-a-Glaze #4 Water Clear and an Armor Top urethane topcoat with girt.  The project team selected a custom flake blend from Torginol of Black, Granite, White and Primary yellow flake colors.
