While earning his degree in Construction Engineering from Iowa State University, Shamus joined our team as a summer intern and we’ve been stuck with him ever since! Now as the President of Skold Construction Services and Skold Specialty Contracting, Shamus has extensive knowledge on both floors and doors; making him a valuable resource for Owners, Contractors and Architects. An Iowa farm boy at heart, Shamus still has a passion for helping out with extended families’ farms and raising, riding and showing horses. When Shamus isn’t working, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Jen, and three children, Colten, Gracie and Ross.
Originally from Eastern Iowa, Jason is a die-hard Hawkeye and Chicago Cubs fan. After earning his degree from the University of Iowa in Management Information Systems, Jason quickly knew corporate America wasn’t for him. He entered the construction industry in 1998 and hasn’t looked back since. When it comes to floor coatings, caulking or grouting, Jason’s got you covered. It’s a safe bet Jason will be the first person in the office every morning – usually before the sun comes up - but come Friday afternoon, he’s ready to get his boat out and fish in the next walleye tournament. When he’s not tournament walleye fishing, he spends his weekends with his wife, Rebecca, and daughter, Emma.

When Jon took a part-time summer job mixing epoxy floors for us in 2006 he never imagined he’d eventually become an Estimator/Project Manager for Skold Door Company. Jon is our resident specialty door guru. If you’ve got an open space you need to close off, Jon’s your guy. Earning his B.A. from Iowa State University, Jon is one of the many Cyclone fans here at Skold. Jon spends his free time with his wife, Jesse, his daughters and yellow lab, Aris, and enjoys running, fly fishing and traveling to his favorite place on earth, Colorado. A graduate of Moody, Kolten brings a diverse set of skills and interests to the Skold Door team. He and his wife, Sami, share a love for the outdoors with their two furry companions, a pug and a golden retriever, often taking them on hikes. His college days as a carpenter helped instill a strong work ethic and attention to detail. Beyond work, Kolten is an avid Kansas City Chiefs fan who enjoys football, bow hunting, fishing, and woodworking. When he's not pursuing these passions, you'll often find him savoring the simple pleasure of taking refreshing naps. 😊
Angie spent much of her career as a Quality Auditor in the manufacturing industry prior to joining Skold Door Company in 2022. Her love of make-up and beauty by day and being in the garage hanging with the boys messing up her manicure by night makes here the perfect fit for the Skold Companies family.
Upon receiving his BS in Business Management from Kirkwood Community College, Levi joined our team as an Assistant Project Manager/Estimator in 2018. Spending his first year in the field learning how to install doors and finish epoxy floors gives Levi an advantage when estimating and managing jobs. Lucky for Levi, we have a pet-friendly office that allows him to bring his black labradoodle, Archie, to work with him on occasion. Levi enjoys spending his free time playing slow-pitch softball, fishing, going to Chicago Cubs games and enjoying the outdoors.
